Stephen King sold his first short story in 1967. More than 50 years later he is still going strong publishing at least one book a year. And in 2019, King is definitely having a pop culture moment with at least three TV shows in production and multiple film adaptions at the box office. 2017's "IT" was his highest-grossing film adaptation ever. The sequel, "IT: Chapter 2" premieres September 6th and Doctor Sleep, the sequel to The Shining starring Ewan McGregor is out in November. This is a perfect time for a Stephen King theme night where we will cover all things King including his life, his books, adaptations in comics, film and television. Float on down to Pariah Brewing Company on Monday, September 30th at 7pm and get busy living, because we all know that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
Top two teams walk away with a gift card and insane bragging rights. See you there!
